What options do I have for a digital personal alarms?
Digital alarms fall into two main categories:
1. In-home digital alarms that operate via the home internet or digital telephone line
2. Fully mobile alarms that operate using mobile phone capabilities provided by an in-built SIM card

The SureSafe Guardian is the complete in-home digital personal alarm. It works using the internet in your home, either plugged directly into the router or connected to the Wi-Fi. The alarm user wears a button either on their neck or wrist, and if they get into any trouble they can press the button to call for help. The alarm will call up to 3 telephone numbers of family and friends, and when the call is connected you can talk to your loved one via the base unit. The SureSafe Guardian does not need a landline, has no ongoing fees with the standard version, and comes with a free 'family & friends' app.
You also have the option to upgrade to the SureSafe Guardian Plus alarm for a small monthly fee. The 'Plus' plan offers a host of additional features and benefits to help keep you or your loved one safe. This includes the ability to call up to 5 nominated contacts (not 3), 'I'm OK checks' to check-in with the alarm user each day, various activity alerts (including alerts for unusual night-time activity, no activity, and if your loved one is not out of bed by their normal time), medication reminders, high and low temperature alerts and a whole lot more. Fully Mobile Alarms:
