I Still Have An Analogue Landline - What Should I Do?

What's happening?

The old copper wire network is being retired and replaced with digital phone lines. Your existing alarm, which is designed to work with an analogue landline may not be able to call for help. A digital upgrade ensures continuous safety and peace of mind during this major national transition

What should I do if I still have an analogue land line?

If you contact your landline provider e.g. BT, they should be able to tell you when the digital switchover is happening in your area.

It's recommended that you upgrade to a digital alarm once the digital switchover has been completed in your area. This gives you the most reliable service should you need the alarm in an emergency. Until then you can continue to use your existing personal alarm and land line.

If you have broadband in your home you can upgrade to a digital alarm now. The SureSafe Digital Connect 24/7 is a similar product to your existing alarm and can be worn as a pendant or watch. It is simply connected to your broadband router instead of your phone line.
