SureSafe Seizure Alert Device
How the SureSafe Seizure Alert works
The SureSafe Seizure Alert device will call friends and family in the event of an epileptic seizure event, when activated by the device wearer, carer, or automatically in the event of a fall being detected. The device cannot detect a seizure but is designed to raise the alarm.
The family monitored epilepsy alarm option works by storing the numbers of your designated contacts. When the alarm is activated manually or automatically it will call the contacts in your preferred option. If preferred contact 1 doesn't answer or it goes to their voicemail then contact 2 is alerted. This cycle is repeated until someone answered the alert.

In addition the device will send an SMS message to the contact when the call is attempted along with a Google Maps link to the location of the device, so even if the wearer can't communicate their location can be identified.
This epilepsy alarm connects the wearer directly to the contact's cell phone and they can speak and hear directly through the device.
The SureSafe Seizure Alert is a simple yet feature rich and effective solution for living with epilepsy and epileptic seizures, enabling sufferers to stay independent and providing peace of mind friends and family.
As the device is worn as a necklace or on a belt clip and with the epilepsy sufferer at all times while they are active it really can provide all day long assurance that, in the event of a seizure, the wearer doesn't need to suffer alone.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. Our epilepsy seizure device is designed to raise the alarm in the event of a seizure. The device has a simple panic button which can be pressed if it's felt that a seizure is imminent, during the seizure, if possible by the wearer or carer or other person who is familiar with the device wearer. The alarm is also triggered automatically if a fall is detected.
The device can be worn as a necklace or on the belt with our belt clip.
Yes. Even for people that have focal impaired awareness seizures it can still be of great benefit. A seizure sufferer often knows when a seizure is imminent and can activate the alert pre-seizure. Also, if they are in an environment with family, or friends or carers the device can be activated by them on the wearer's behalf. The epilepsy alarm device also has automatic fall detection so if a seizure results in a fall it will alert the designated contacts without the seizure sufferer having to manually press the panic button.
The alarm operates similarly to a cell phone. It will use cell networks to make emergency calls and 'help me' SMS messages. The monthly fee covers cell service.
