Family Monitoring

When help is needed, the alarm contacts a designated friend or family member directly. You can store up to five emergency contacts, ensuring that if one person is unavailable, the alarm will automatically move on to the next—voicemail messages are bypassed to avoid delays*. This option includes a small ongoing fee to cover emergency call handling and SIM card usage. A 24/7 monitored option is also available.

How It Works

The SureSafeGo can call family and friends in an emergency, helping maintain independent living and give loved ones peace of mind.

The medical alert device works by storing the telephone numbers of your designated contacts. In the event of the wearer pushing the emergency alert button, or a fall is detected, the SureSafeGO will call the first contact on the list. If the contact does not answer, the device will call the second contact on the list and so on. Additionally, the device will send a text message to the contact when the call is attempted. This text message includes a Google Maps link to the location of the medical alert - so you know where help is needed.

When an emergency contact answers the SOS call, two-way communication is then automatically available through the pendant. This means you can speak to your loved one through the pendant to find out what help they need. You then know exactly how to help your loved one, for example calling 911 for them, and you can reassure them that help is on the way. this gives them additional peace of mind.

Additional features include low battery alerts being sent to family and friends, so you can remind your loved one to charge their device. The pendant will also make audible announcements to remind the wearer to charge the medical alert pendant.

You can also request the location of the pendant at any time by sending a simple text message from your cell phone. The alarm will text you back with a Google Maps link.

The SureSafeGo with family monitoring is a reliable and convenient system for keeping loved ones connected and the alarm wearer safe. The simple one-touch emergency button to call family is easily accessible as it is worn on the body at all times and triggers a call to your nominated contacts when pressed.

What happens when I press the button on the device, or if a fall is detected?

With the family monitored option the alarm will call and text the 1^st number stored. If there is no answer within 15 seconds it will call the second number, and so on. It will call through all 5 contacts in sequence. If you would like the contacts to be called multiple times if no one answers please contact us after ordering your device.

How do I add in the phone numbers that I want the device to connect to?

By sending text messages to the alarm. Don't worry, your delivery will include some easy-to-follow instructions, plus we have US based customer service support should you require additional assistance.

Does the device include fall detection?

Yes, it does, and unlike other providers, there is no extra charge for this feature. You can disable the fall detection should you wish to.

Where do I get the SIM?

The SIM is pre-installed and is the only SIM that can work with the device

Why do I pay a monthly fee?

The device is similar to a mobile phone in that it uses cell networks to make emergency calls and 'help me' text messages to your contacts. The monthly fee covers the cell service.

Do I need to be on AT&T?

The SureSafeGO medical alarm functions similarly to a mobile phone. It comes with a built-in SIM card that allows the device to contact your chosen emergency contacts or our monitoring centre whenever an alert is activated.

To keep the device connected, we offer a cost-effective credit bundle that provides access to AT&T’s reliable 4G LTE network. This bundle is billed quarterly and includes unlimited emergency calls and alarm activations each month, subject to a fair use policy.

Please note that the SIM card included in the SureSafeGO device is unique to SureSafe and cannot be replaced or substituted with another provider’s SIM card. Only a SureSafe SIM will work with the alarm, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
